What is a good heart rate monitor?

Should I get one with the strap? or nay? I don't care how expensive it is, if it works very well, just tell me what model it is so I can get it haha.

    i got a polar ft4, $60 on amazon. It has a chest strap. Easy to learn to use and now i can't imagine working out without it!

    Polar FT7 comes with a chest strap and i love it :) i definitely recommend it its very simple and easy to use
    paid around 150 for it

    Love my garmin FR60.. Has the watch, the chest monitor and the jumpr drive thing that plugs in and transfers info to the computer... pd about $120
