weights and sizes

As you can tell im new to this,
i haven't been able to get any scales as yet, is 100 grams of meat about the same as palm you hand? 10 grams cheese size of an individual butter at restaurants. a table spoon 30 grams. any tips on sizes and weights until i get to town??. thank you

I have no idea with the grams. I usually look for log entries with ounces or cups because I can usually figure those out.0

Hi ... the weight of meat, cheese etc is down to the density so I find that it's not easy to work out without a scales. Once you've weighed a couple of times you probably won't need to do it much. Most packages list the weight and if you're buying fresh there's usually a scales in the shop. I'm sure others on here will have a better answer!0
