62, ADHD, Zepbound, Look! A squirrel.

Hi! Looking for others with similar issues - ADHD, little to no executive function, and now throwing Zepbound into the mix. Just week one, but so far so good. Those food thoughts are really quieting down. Just curious what new thoughts will slip in to replace them, since it was constant chatter. Anyway, here's to a healthy mental and physical journey.

My daughter has ADHD and is going to go on Zepbound soon. Do you take medication for ADHD? She started taking Adderall and noticed it curbed her appetite- but, didn’t really help with focus. What is your experience almost one month in? I started Zepbound in February and have lost 30 pounds - seven from my goal weight. Food noise and cravings are gone too!

I have unmedicated ADHD and am almost a month in (and 10 pounds down) on 2.5mg Zepbound. The mental quiet was unbelievable! My hyperfocus is still here, but I'm mostly okay with that.

Thanks @mjohemme There is some back ground chatter that Zepbound and others may actual be a bit helpful for some with ADHD. It's too early to ready any research on it, it is ongoing. Good luck, and it would be very helpful if you keep sharing your experience with it.
