cleaning controllers

I can't find anything on google, so I thought I'd ask my question here. Does anyone know if I can spray Lysol on my ps3 controllers?

  Not the console, just the controllers.

  Wouldn't spray it right on the controllers. You could spray a small amount on a paper towel and wipe the controller down. That is what I do.
