If there is belly fat, there's no way to reduce it just in that spot.
Generally, the answer is to eat in a sensibly moderate calorie deficit to lose body fat. Our body will decide where to lose that fat, but sooner or later it should reduce the belly fat.
If the belly fat is visceral fat, the fat that's inside the body surrounding organs, underneath the sheath of muscles, sometimes improving dietary quality and getting regular exercise can help even at constant weight. I'm talking lean proteins, plenty of fiber, healthy fats, veggies and fruits, whole grains, etc. Improving sleep quality/quantity, reducing stress or improving stress management, and avoiding/eliminating alcohol may also help. Visceral fat can make the belly bigger by pushing outward from inside the body.
If the belly fat is the squishy/jiggly stuff on the outside of the abdominal muscles - a.k.a. subcutaneous fat - technically there are two ways to reduce that, only one of which can happen at what most people would consider a satisfactory pace. That latter one is the calorie deficit previously mentioned. The other ultra-slow way is to get serious about challenging, progressive strength training, eat at weight-maintenance calories with good nutrition and plenty of protein, and ultra slowly add muscle mass using body fat as part of the fuel for that process. That's theoretically possible, but ssssssooooooo ssssslooooowwwww.

If you didn't want belly fat, why did you choose to store fat on your belly when you gained weight?

the tips for reducing belly fat are the same tips for reducing fat anywhere on the body because as mentioned, you cannot reduce where you want, the fat to come off where you were genetically programmed to do so, all you can do is be in a consistent weekly caloric deficit and have patience
