First week back. Been on WW but tired of counting and figuring out points. This is much easier. What MyFitnessPal plan do you have? Regula or Premium ?

I have premium, although you may find the free plan to be enough. I had the idea that if I paid for it that would motivate me more to use it, and I'm not sure that is true. (Although the bar code scanner and a few other premium things are nice.)

I have been on free always, and have lost 100lbs. I understand that there are features of premium that make it worth it for people with very defined macro goals, or who need to really break down details, but for me, free has always been enough and the things that matter to me, like the diary interface, the database etc, are the same in both.

I'm on premium now (year 9+ of maintenance), but used free MFP to lose from class 1 obese to healthy weight back in 2015-16, and for the first months of maintenance. I like the extra nutritional metrics in premium, but for me they're useful rather than absolutely essential.

😇 I pay the fee because I like the service and I want to support it. In general, having a lot of practice, I get what I need from the site. I dropped 22lbs this winter using it.

👺 But, I wish they would clean up the food database! It's the #1 cause of frustration on the site! Lately, I've seen more complaints that the set up wizard gives people too many calories, but I can't verify whether that's user error or a bug.

I am on a free trial and do like the difference without the ads. Also mentioned here, I like the idea when paying for something it may help my drive. Thank you everyone
