MFP App New Look

Hi All,
Has anyone taken the time to look at the proposed new way this app is going to be changed to yet?

When I logged in this morning, there was an advisory at the top of the page, telling me that there'd be (another) rehash of the way the app looks on the web version I use every day. I've added pics of the notice, as well as the "improved" look.

The new look takes 3 pages through scroll to all the data, whereas the current one is barely 1.5 pages, with all the key data in the opening page, so little scrolling is needed.

Current view: Clear, Compact & To-The-Point

With the current view, I can see almost everything in a single screen whereas with the new proposal, you have to search not only up & down but it's been spread out laterally from left to right too.

That's a LOT of scrolling, I'm sure you'd agree.

Also little "preferences" have been changed to the content appearance from the pie chart as to what nutrition we take on board, which is now a bar/line graph, which is almost missable.
MFP have asked for feedback. I have already offered this & I would certainly suggest that others offer theirs as well.

This was attempted earlier in the year & the "new" look was similarly very pooly thought through, was spread across the page just like this one & was also a lot of scrolling to do something that requires none in the current format. In short, the new thing makes it harder to use, not easier. The previous attempt lasted less than 2 days, I'm sure that feedback in forums from end users helped that to happen.

"If it ain't broke, then don't fix it", is the old saying. That's particularly relevant in this situation I think.

Some folks might like the new one but for those who like me think the existing "classic" look is more than adequate, then do please send your feedback in.
