I’m new to Zepbound as well, two weeks in. It’s pretty amazing how it cuts my appetite and cravings. I’m truly hoping it continues. Fortunately I haven’t had any side effects. Just trying to eat enough protein and fiber.

I joined Gym recently to take care of my health

  • @lancasterbeth i just took my first injection today. Keep posting, the support is helpful. I had some anxiety this morning and don’t feel too great and hoping the feeling passes or I don’t know if I can do another injection. Other advice was a lot of water and protein which I’m trying to do but also afraid to eat based on other complaints of nausea, and stomach issues. Thank you for sharing!

Hi, I am on the third week of Zepbound, my dietician said that I am undereating though. So trying to up protein, fiber, and veggies. I have some side effects, tired and stomach issues. I've noticed that drinking lots of water helps with stomach issues. I had diarrhea and but then tried to figure if something I ate might have not agreed with medicine. My dietician said I should drink 90 oz a day. I was drinking 70 right now. I love how it takes the urge to eat and cravings away. I have lost 12 pounds and am starting to add some exercise into it. Slow and steady wins the race right?

    Hi, Everyone!

I'm on week 2 of Zepbound, and it's been rough. I recently had Phase I of some necessary surgery, and the doctor wants me to lose 15 pounds before I have the final phase of the surgery. For weeks 1 and 2, I felt absolutely miserable the first two days after taking my shot, then for two days felt Meh, then I got 3 days of feeling almost normal. I take shot 3 on Saturday and am not looking forward to starting this cycle again. Does the body ever adjust to this drug so it's not so hard to function? I've lost 5 pounds, so it's working, but living like this is not fun. I'm meeting my daily protein goals primarily through protein drinks. Food has no taste, or the flavor has changed to make the food inedible. My constipation has started to ease, but I don't know if the constipation is due to Zep or to the pain medications from my surgery (I'm now off those meds). I do like all the food noise being gone, and not craving sweets or evening munchies is nice. I guess I'm just depressed and looking for encouragement.

New to this thread- I’m 58, 5’2” and need to lose 50+ lbs. Just started Zepbound injections this week and am amazed that my appetite and cravings are gone after just 3 days! I have not yet experienced any of the bad side effects (knocking on wood). My challenge now is eating enough to meet minimum calories and macros. Water intake has always been easy for me so that’s not an issue.

How’s it going? I’ve been using Zepbound since June and down 25 pounds. I just increased my dose last month and it seems to be working ok.

@rmwcww I feel your pain!! This is my 6th week. I couldn’t move up to 5mg because of the side effects. I’m still on 2.5 mg and feel EXACTLY like you. I take my shot Saturday night and for 2 days I feel miserable, the next 2 days I feel meh and the next 3 I start to feel like myself again. Just in time for my shot Saturday night. 🙁 I’m losing weight but I’m frustrated. Wondering if it will get better and if I’ll be able to jump to 5 mg at least. I get nauseous, dizzy, headache and nervousness. Sugar levels are good, drinking about 70 oz of water a day, eating 3 meals a day. Trying to do all the right things but nothing eases the side effects. Not even the 4 mg zofran the dr prescribed for nausea. Hoping someone who has been in our shoes and stayed the course can shed some light.
