    September Goal: 165 miles

    9/1: 6.05 miles

    9/2: 6.52 miles

    12.57/165 miles completed for September

It was really nice for me this morning. 66°F with a dew point of 65°. It was much nicer than it has been lately. I ran a tempo run and ended up with 6.5 miles. I know we'll have more hot weather, but it was nice to be a little cooler.

You're doing great @CMorning99 ….but, you probably need to change your running days to Sept. 🤣😉 Glad you found a food tracking app that you like. I wouldn't pay $60 a year for that either. It does sound like you need to find a newer pair of shoes. If you run too much in those, you may hurt some body part (knee, ankle, leg, etc.)

Glad you are back @Zaxa2021 . I would love to get comfortable at running 12 miles! Not happened yet. Three miles is my comfort level at the moment. LOL

Sounds like you are doing great @yirara . I hope the "gym" works out for the month.

1 Sept - Walked 1.60 miles, Ran 2.75 miles - Driveway and road
    2 Sept - Walked 2.25 miles, Ran 0.00 miles - Drioveway

    6.60/80 mile goal

I am trying to get ready for a yard sale on Saturday, so spent most of my day on that.

It rained this morning, so my driveway was wet, and slick. Because of that did just a walk to minimize the probability of slipping and falling. Plus, I just wasn't feeling the best today, so that was a good choice all around. My pace was 15:54 min/mile. Avg HR was 120 with a max of 135 bpm.

    9/2: 5 miles

    Total: 5/100 miles

5 miles at 10 min/mile. It was a good run, I felt in the zone. The gym was extra busy tonight for some reason.

Hi @Kizzy_Ann I'm happy to see you posting here in the Sept Running Challenge. This is a high volume group, so it's great for getting daily support, motivation, and encouragement. Posting your goal and checking in regularly really works. I hope to see you around.

Sure @Zaxa2021 You have a big goal (100) I hope to see you here meeting that big number.

Will you start mixing in some outdoor training along with the treadmill as you get closer to your race date?

I should have looked at a calendrer for September before I set a goal of 15 runs. The most I run is 4 times in one week. There isn't enough weeks in September to make that goal. I am going to drop it to 12 runs.

    Sept 3 - 4km

1 of 12 runs completed for September

    Nice runs @yirara, @quilteryoyo, @tarun_yadavA, @Teresa502, @Scott6255, @CMorning99, @Zaxa2021, @username301, @ContraryMaryMary, & @WarmJellyfish!

Sorry to hear about the wildfire smoke return @WarmJellyfish!
Hope you're feeling better @quilteryoyo & good luck on the yard sale!

    Welcome @Kizzy_Ann!

Salt in the food was one of many shockers to me, just like your DH @CMorning99, while I was trying losing weight & get off HBP meds!

    Posting 2 days.
    Sept:

    01/09 - 8.08km / 5.02 miles
    02/09 - 0km Rest day
    03/09 - 6.21km / 3.86 miles

    Total = 14.29km / 8.88 miles (Goal - 161Km / 100 miles)

Decided after my lackluster performance on my first Sept race to take a rest day on Tuesday. This morning was a really nice cool start to the day for a run.

    @angf0679 🤣😂

    Wow. That's beautiful @AlphaHowls !

Good running @WarmJellyfish . I hate that the fires are so bad there and in CA too.

You are doing great @CMorning99 New shoes can't hurt. Glad you are liking your chronometer. Yeah. The first time you start looking at labels, it is a wake up call!

@John772016 Glad you had a nice run this morning. Thanks. I am feeling better and getting ready for a yard sale is a lot of work. I don't expect to make a ton of money, but hopefully can de-clutter a bit.

1 Sept - Walked 1.60 miles, Ran 2.75 miles - Driveway and road
    2 Sept - Walked 2.25 miles, Ran 0.00 miles - Driveway
    3 Sept - Walked 2.25 miles, Tan 0.00 miles - Treadmill

    8.85/80 mile goal

Mom and I ran some errands and did some shopping this morning. When we got almost back to mom's house…like one house away close…the road was blocked with fire trucks, ambulance, EMS, etc. Turned out some lady had driven off the road and down an embankment/bluff. It was basically straight down. We aren't sure what happened because it looked like she didn't break and didn't make any effort to turn to stay on the road. She was alert when they took her to the hospital and just complained about her nose hurting (per the neighbor) so hopefully she is okay. Anyway, we didn't know how long it would take to clear the road and we had groceries, so we had to backtrack and get to mom's by a different route. Here, in rural E. TN, that means about a 15 min drive.

They did get everything taken care of about 10 min after we got to mom's. We walked up to look at the scene and talked to our neighbor's.

I say this as a way to explain that, by then, I was short on time and energy, so decided on only a treadmill walk. Garmin had told me earlier that I didn't sleep well last night and should get some rest, so…. today I listened to the watch. 😂

I probably won't be adding in outdoor running. It's just not really practical at this point. It would be running in the dark around pretty heavy traffic, which I don't want to do. I think (and hope) I'll be okay without it.

    Nice runs @chris_in_cal , @Zaxa2021, @username301 and @tarun_yadavA .

Nice couple of days @Teresa502 . We had rain about all day yesterday too.

Anyone who can stay on a treadmill longer than 30 minutes has my utmost respect and I think this takes a lot more mental toughness than running outside any day! You got this!

1 Sept - Walked 1.60 miles, Ran 2.75 miles - Driveway and road
    2 Sept - Walked 2.25 miles, Ran 0.00 miles - Driveway
    3 Sept - Walked 2.25 miles, Ran 0.00 miles - Treadmill
    4 Sept - Walked 1.00 miles - Ran 0.00 miles - Treadmill

    9.85/80 mile goal

Was trying to get some furniture to mom's for the yard sale, but the rain kept interfering. Started a couple of times and it rained before we got anything loaded up. It really is hard to get anything else done when your waiting for a break in the rain.

I did manage to get in a mile on the treadmill and finally got the big stuff to mom's around 7 pm. Keeping the streak going may be all I'm able to do for the next couple of days.
