Hi there I am a new joiner and wondered if you can swap meals from different recipes? (For same macros).

    Nothing’s writ in stone here. You can eat whatever you want. The key is controlling portions, and making sure you’re coming in at it very near your daily calorie goal.

    I didn’t even bother looking at macros for the first couple of years, during a significant weight loss.

    What I did discover, though, was that making better choices, controlling calories (especially seeets and snacks), my macros began to fall into place on their own.

    Worry about the big stuff (calories, weighing, logging) and sweat the small stuff (macros, micros) later on. You’ve probably had (like me!) awful macros for years and it hasn’t killed you yet, so you’ve got time to work towards them later on.

    One thing that might help is drilling down to the 7-day macro view once in a while. I would make myself nuts trying to meet macros daily, but my weekly average is pretty decent, and I’m fine with that.
