Some foods come with QR codes instead of barcodes. Any plans to add QR codes?

    QR is a common type of barcode and not having those be scannable by MyFitnessPal is a problem when scanning is a primary feature of the Premium plan.

    Thank you for the great suggestion involving the ability to scan QR codes to log foods. Although this is not supported now, we will definitely consider it for a future update.

    Thank you MFP Staff for your assurance that scanning QR codes will be considered for a future update. Please don't leave it too long though because in my Tesco, packaging that now displays QR codes no longer displays barcodes.
