Hey people, I'm feeling very pleased with myself having run my first 10K event this weekend past. Earlier this year I started C25K and it was just the kickstart I needed. If you're even considering something like this, just go for it. I've gone from chunky cake-fiend to running 10K in a few short months. Here are both my progress pics and my photo from the finish line (not that I'm showing off or anything!).

CONGRATS!! Being a runner will keep you happy and healthy for many years!! Just keep signing up for small and the occasional big race and running will just be part of who you are Although my weight has fluctuated throughout the years, I have never stopped running. Too bad eating healthy doesn't come near as easy.0

Fabulous! Love, love, love the running photo. You look great. I sooooo want to do the Susan G. Komen 5K walk/run. It is 100 degrees outside and I have never run more than a mile at a time. I am also 61-years-old. Your photo makes me want to give it a try though. Thanks!0
