Question or statement? I can't tell, honestly.

Pacific Gold Original Beef Jerkey in a small bag at 1.25 oz. is a quick (90 calorie) snack and I swear it takes more calories to chew it than you take in. I agree with you, Jerkey is a good snack!

It's low in fat and calories and high in protein. However, it's high in sodium, so as long as you don't need to worry about your sodium intake, or watch what you eat the rest of the day, then yes, it's a great snack.

I have a tendency to keep some in the house for those nights I am way under calories and want something low carb/high protein.

It depends, is it store-bought in those $7 bags where you get 80grams? (loaded with salt and other preservatives and flavours) or is it home-made cut in thin strips from a nice round steak flavoured naturally and dried in your own oven / dehydrator?

I love jerky and just picked some up at lunch time, my oven doesn't set low enough to make it and I haven't bought my dehydrator for the city yet.

i like jerkey. I usually get the turkey jerkey cause it's much lower in calories and fat. like some have said, however, it's not great if you're walking your sodium intake.

"good" as in tasty or nutritionally good? Either way I'm going to say no. I've never cared for jerky and unless you've been advised by your doctor to increase your sodium intake I don't think any snack high in sodium qualifies as "good".

What do you mean by what is love it. I no longer care for good salt but try for things in nature such as carrots and celery juice?

I love jerky as well. I've been buying OSTrim from GNC because it's only 80 calories per 1.25oz serving and it tends to be lower in sodium too. Great afternoon snack for me!

I saw some 'All natural organic chemical free jerky' on the highway today.

I don't think it was beef.

If you portion it right it makes a good and filling afternoon snack.

I have a place nearby that makes elk jerky, it helped me get through many long afternoon classes haha.
