    I didn't recognize the artist, but the Parker and Barrow portion rang a bell. A simple search revealed the song.

    Yeah, if it's Sammy John's, it has to be Chevy Van.

    Always thought it had a touch of Eagles to it.

    That song puts me back somewhere in about the 8th grade. So, I looked it up to confirm the year. I did not realize it was originally released in 1973. And then rereleased in 1975 (where it reached #5 on Billboard). I went through a period, around that time, of building model cars. One was a Chevy Van.
