Wouldn't it taste better if you put about the same portion as the egg? Should I try measuring it? Also, did you dip it, not soak it, and fry it in a good quality butter?:D

I did dip instead of soak, but fry in butter? What on Earth? Don't you just place the dipped bread directly onto a hot skillet with nothing else between?

Isn't that definitely not what I do? Don't I prefer a dab of butter in the pan first, and when nearly done don't I slide the toast around in an effort to pick up any butter that's lingering in the pan?
