If you don't like to cook, the company "Factor" has healthy prepared meals that can be ordered online & delivered to your home.

there’s lots of easy, fast meals.

There’s an American company called Taylor Farms that sells pretty much everywhere. They have salad and stir fry kits in the produce section. Inexpensive, fresh, tasty.

I dice chicken, brown it in a dry pan, and add it to the salad or stir fry. Takes less than ten minutes from fridge to plate. Nutritious and low calorie. I especially like their Chopped Mediterranean Crunch salad.

Taco kit: fast and easy. Throw a frozen chicken breast in the crockpot in the morning, douse it with taco seasoning the the sauce packet. Shred when you get home. Takes five minutes in the morning to set up the crockpot, and five when you get home to bake the shells.

I was sort of like you in that I knew how to cook, but didn’t know what to cook. If you keep paying attention to what you’re eating, the pieces will fall into place.

For me, it was the paying attention that led me to reel in the eating, and when I did, macros started falling in line relatively well by themselves. I didn’t even worry about them for the first year or two. I was re-educating myself about food.

I don't usually post things like this, but this one is relevant.

There's a guy on Instagram and Facebook (maybe elsewhere, too, don't know) named Coach John Noel. He posts lots of sensible, realistic content on weight loss, fitness, and diet. It's free.

One series of his short videos is “it's not cooking, it's just mixing stuff”. It's about making simple, nutritious, tasty meals at home with minimal effort or complexity.

Because it uses lots of semi-prepared foods, it probably isn't the cheapest route, but most of the ideas are at least as affordable as takeout or the more affordable restaurants.

He's also very deadpan and I find him funny. His home workouts are simple, don't require equipment, and include adaptations for different fitness levels. There's other good stuff, too.

If you're interested, search for "Coach John Noel" on Instagram, Facebook, or web.
