when I walk Kobe(MIL's dog), I wear my fanny pack and run the loop for the leash on the strap of the pack- hands free and don't have to worry about him jerking the leash out of my hand and him running off

There are quite a few cans to dump it in around the park and I have tossed it into peoples cans if they are out and ready for pick up- I won't put a bag in a can that has already been dumped-Poop would stay in the can for a week.

Thanks Lisa for your kind words. I am trying! Like that little engine that could...

For many years I have watched how slim "normal" people eat, mess with their food and though they seem to enjoy their food, they weren't emotionally married to it. It was like watching aliens. But folks, here I am turning into a frillin alien.

Oooh scary! Do you have carbon monoxide censors? Those would be helpful until you get a new boiler. Sorry yours isnt working well!😥

    Lanette,

I do not think my sister will get another dog or cat. She had said she is done. I think she should take in the elder dogs or cats. Her place is the ultimate retirement home or hospice care for senior pets ever! She gets so attached. Which is understandable. She is having fun watching the bird population explode since her cat passed. Also lots more squirrels getting the bird food too. Its like green light for them without the feline hunter there.

Woke to glorious sound of downpour yesterday morning. Now we can do more than one load of laundry a week, shower whenever we want and flush more frequently. Happy rain dance!

Tumble's recheck went ok. Less inflamed, healing a bit better but skin sides still not knit back together so another bandage. More antibiotics and Carprofen to tide us over til Friday. No word on biopsy results.

Bingeing: I knew that buying that bag of Cheetos was flirting with one of my triggers. Fortunately it was only the 3 serving bag, and I was able to stop at one and a half servings. Paid the price this morning with a 1 lb gain. Know better.

Michele the last time I used a retractable leash it went over the palm of my hand when Dixie pulled and it cut me nearly to the bone. Since then, nothing but leather leashes. Could you tie a knot in the leash just below the bag to keep it from sliding down? IMHO those who abuse and torment animals come back as that animal with full knowledge of who’s doing it to them. Karma.

Time to stand up and do some PT exercises, baby steps.

    Later, lighter, lovelies!

September focus tidier: 5 minutes look for something that can be done in 5 mins or less… and just do it.
2025: Chose NOW: to move more than yesterday (see action plan), fuel better than yesterday (hold that after dinner sweet down to two pieces of dark chocolate max), open heart and mind before mouth

Sorry, on the wrong thread. Pressed reply by accident when I wasn't looking!

Mo @mcmillonmail the flank is they're side- usually they lick around the area just behind the ribs. Why does your dog lick its elbow? Does the Benadryl help? I can't help asking - its in me to try and figure it out 🤔
