🐝🐝🐝🐝09/30-DNW (Trend Weight: DNW) I didn’t get the crown done (yet). The x-ray showed an abscess below the crown. Luckily no pain but I had no idea. I already have a root canal under that crown but apparently the rod did not go down far enough into the canal which left a pocket open for bacteria. Now I need another root canal AND still the crown replacement. I am waiting for the final quote and appointment. I know it will be upwards of $4000.00. Darn, I could have completely redone my son’s 700 sq foot basement “apartment” with that amount of money which is a project that is badly needed.

9/28- DNW9/29- DNW9/30- 167.2 - Not too bad. I did eat (real) ice cream last night (took my lactose pills). I did not track food and water was abysmally low as were my steps. I'm working hard to be back on track today - I'm on track for water, if not ever-so-slightly behind but in a manner I can catch up easily. Steps are good and can easily be reached for the day. I'm low on my food intake - I had a small snack (equivalent to my usual pre-workout) as "breakfast" but nothing substantial I'd call a real breakfast. 40g protein and carbs, 20g fat remaining with dinner already pre-logged. I'm feeling good that, even if I see a slight increase (due to increased water intake), I'm on the right track and will see progress again soon.2 -

9/29 173.09/30 DNW Our street is being replaced, 6am-6pm. I can work with that BUT the truck dropping off equipment at 4:45 this morning was out of bounds!!!!
The good part is I bounced out of bed and headed to the gym for a 5:30 upper body workout I had been invited to. I had planned to wait to add in 5:30am Tuesday until Tuesday night boxing ends in a few weeks. I’m gonna feel this!!
In my energy to get to the gym I forgot to weigh. Rushed straight into my day after that.
I need to find time to start spooky decorating!!! It’s my favorite time in the garden. I’ll have to start taking pictures.

🎷 67 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 310 (my 240th).
Goals for every round;
- First and foremost, no feeding frenzies – I am not a shark or even a piranha!
- to weigh less at the end of the round than the start
- be happy because I feel that I have made the round count at the end
- to have a totally 10-day binge free round.
I need to remain consistent - it does work! Good luck for success everyone.
Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, it’s taken me 75 rounds to achieve target of 130 = back to maintenance!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back to around 135. A healthy lifestyle must be a permanent way of life.
Updated 20.08.24 – I met up with youngest DB, first time after his DP passed away at the way too early age of 46. DB lives a long way from us, we see him very infrequently & is very introvert, so not a sharer of info 😞. However, he finally opened up to me, it seems that his DPs bad health leading to heart failure followed by kidney, liver failure & then a massive stroke, was originally caused by heavy drinking. By the time he realised he was abusing his body and went teetotal, the damage was too late to reverse. He was on the list for a heart transplant, but his other organs gave up before one became available. This has made me think about how I am abusing my body when I have binges with way too much sugar, fat & salt. I know I am a food addict. I'm going to try to think about this when I am tempted to overindulge, I need to start respecting my body more and think about whether I want to be in the best health I can be. My body has served me so well for 67 years, it deserves to be given the best chance to keep serving me well & I've been really lucky that life has not dealt me a raw health deal, so I must not jeopardize that luck.

I have been absent minded shoveling crackers in my mouth every time I walk into the kitchen. DH will leave a box open on the counter for easy access.
I have enough problems dealing with cravings and the food I enjoy. Eating 20-30 Triscuits just because the box is there is not great.Planning on dinner out this evening. Lack of sleep is going to be a challenge today. I know I should eat before I get too hungry but I also want to eat my larger meal when I’m out late in the day.
My lack of meal planning and free style eating habits are not ideal when I’m over tired and making poor decisions.Nice to see so many new “faces” and some returning friends!!! I’ve been selfish with my posts lately. All about me, me, memememeeee!!!!

Up at 3:00 this morning after a return from a fantastic whirlwind tour from Prague, Nuremberg, Vienna, Budapest and London. Part of that was a river cruise with three square meals a day. I ate every meal like it was my last but burned a trillion calories. Thus, a surprisingly low gain on the scale.I have a lot of work to do to meet goals.

10/1 DNW Sleep deprived again. Did not 🏋️♀️yesterday. Two hrs 🎾 was enough. Food good but carbs high. Ate two great big beautiful organic medjool dates last night - divine. 1352 cals. Maybe that’s why I didn’t sleep? 😊 Tennis this morning.

5'3, 37 years old. SAHM to 4 year old twins with disabilities.
I don't know what's going on with my weight right now. It's steadily climbing, though I don't know why. 10 days to focus. 10 days to get it under control.
9/28: 148.2. I did a long run in the morning, followed by a lazy rest of the day.
9/29: 148.7. I had a couple of cupcakes for my birthday yesterday, but otherwise food wasn't too bad. I went for a walk at night to reach my step goal.
9/30: 146.2. Food was mostly on track, went for a walk. Husband has been sick, I'm really hoping for a miracle so the boys and I don't it.
10/1: 145.1. I'm so glad some of this stubborn bloat is starting to go away. I have no idea what caused it, but it was hanging on tight for a while. Meals were good yesterday, but snacking was a little crazy. A couple of walks, but no gym.

10/1: 210.6 (finally! was on a mini plateau for a few days. I cooked a delicious salad from Greta's cookbook Every Salad Ever last night. Haven't had a single recipe go wrong out of that cookbook, I swear! My husband would agree. Thankfully he eats whatever I put on the table so I can keep everything WW friendly! He's even losing weight by default haha.)

This is good—I’m feeling empowered to do something about these stupid pounds. My actual weigh in this morning was 197.2, which I wanted to post, but in the long run I know I’ll be happier posting my trend weights. I used to walk 5-8 miles almost every day but got out of the habit. I’m trying now to rebuild my walking muscle, and even just 3 days in, I see improvement. All good!10/02 —

Extreme elimination diet (doctor prescribed) for diagnostic reasons, very low calories, then boom! Gained 40 pounds.
