My word for 2025 is "enough". I don't need to get more or do more, I just need to appreciate what I have.

    September Accomplishments

    (Not much this month!)

    Physical Wellness

    image.png
    • Lost 11.1 kg (24.5 lbs) since the beginning of January. I did not lose anything in September… much less exercise than I hoped because I was ill at least half the month. But I maintained.
    • Walked 51 km.
    • Cycled 17 km.
    • Climbed 230 flights of 20 stairs up plus landings at work.
    • Continued Learn to Swim classes and learned how to do the freestyle.
    • 16 hours of exercise ... only. 😕
    • I also got quite a lot of sleep this month.

    Occupational/Intellectual/Financial

    • Worked full time in September - busy as usual. The pace is not slowing down. But I was forced to take a few days off … too sick.

    Environmental/Social/Emotional/Spiritual

    • Enjoyed the spring flowers - tulips and hyacinths
    • Cycling Club work - mostly advertising stuff
    • Bee Group Zoom
    • Attended Candlelight Concert
    • Home Office - got some sorting done!
    • Did several Sudokus - but they were easy
    • Coloured 2 pages
    • Read 7 books
    • Continued reading Bible every night

    September Books

Read more than usual! That's what happens when I'm off work and resting.

5 of the books got 5 stars this month!

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Only 2 books were rated lower at 3 stars: Killer Potential and Yellowface.

My desk top computer is so old I can't use Window 11. I had my son help me get my photos off and put them into a Flashdrive. It was about the only thing I wanted to get off the old computer. My old document files are now on in read only. I did pay to have excess to them for awhile. Then I found out the company I was using was from China so I stopped once my credit card lapsed.

I have other goals such as getting rid of old record albums and clearing out our attic above the garage. I did clear out most of son's things and the camping gear. Next is to get rid of DH boxes from when he retired. I did find some old electronics that once I get a few more I will take into the recycling center.

I have a scanner for the old desk top but I find it difficult to use. If I need to scan something I take it to the library and then e-mail that to me so I can download it and send it if need be. They no longer store your documents in the Xerox machines that they use.

sad to hear McCalls is going out of business- Need to check around and see if Walmart will be lowering the prices on the patterns there. Hobby lobby is 20 min away(I know, not that far) but can't make it up there this week or weekend- work and class reunion. Maybe we can go up Monday.
    Thanks for letting us know

Omgosh, Tracey! NB looks just like MN this time of year. It's just lovely. I absolutely adore fall. My favorite season by far.

Thanks for starting us off on the right turning leaf, Barbie. 🍂

    Wishing everyone a lovely month!
