Hi. This is a cry for help to any of you who did great when you first shot out of that weight loss gate and then just slowed down to the point that your scale started moving in the opposite direction. I haven't quit, I just need to strengthen my resolve. I've lost 76lbs and dropped like 6 dress sizes. I know that's nothing short of amazing. Especially for me, who up until about 10 months ago actually believed that skinny people who worked out all the time were nuts. There is SO MUCH great food out there and all those skinny people were missing out on some great enjoyment. Then I had a wake-up call in the form of an anxiety attack and that made me start to think about my daughters and how I didn't want them to have the same life I did- home alone on a Friday night with not a single boyfriend to take out the fat chick in class. I dropped those 76lbs in about 8 months and now I am at a stand still. I'm a stress eater and have not fully learned how to break the habit. And I've lost my drive but not my desire. Have any of you had this happen? How did you get back on track and reach your goals? I want that same fire that I had when I first started. PLEASE HELP!!!

  • I feel you. Although I had only lost 15 pounds, recently I feel like I've fallen out of the swing of things. I was going strong losing 2 pounds every week, but the school [university] started and the stress started getting pretty bad. I started gaining it back slowly but surely. I decided if i can't completely control my eating i might as well go work out to burn some stress, and calories. Just remember. Each day is a fresh start. Do your best!
