    9/28 - 131.6 🏃🏻‍♀️Have to work harder this round and act like I’m actually trying to get healthier. Yesterday I co-hosted a baby shower for a friend and of course overindulged, but it could have been worse. I made good choices for lunch at least to offset some of the damage. DH and DSs had an adventure last night. They were at a scout campout when there was storming and heavy rain. There was a flash flood warning and they all packed up in the dark and rain. Thankfully everyone was safe and home around 9!


    9/29 - 132.4 🏃🏻‍♀️🚫 Not pleased with this number. Today is going to have to be a tracking day for me, as closely as I can anyway. DH is doing the cooking tonight and I’m not off to the best start, but hopefully I can right the ship. 


    9/30 - 129.6 🏃🏻‍♀️🚫📝 Very happy about this! Apparently there’s something to drinking all that water we’re supposed to consume. Really moved things through the system. I also tracked for the first time in a while, and though I went over, knowing I was going to track it stopped me from being too excessive. The only issue I had is that I drank my water too late (or at least it unlocked my retained water too late) and I had to pee twice in the night. Will try to get it in earlier today. I’m off today and both kids are in school for the morning. Going to start by walking the dogs and figuring out with chores I’m going to do. Once I figure that out and lift weights it will be time to pick up the 4yo! 

    10/1 - 128.2 🏃🏻‍♀️🚫📝 Pleasantly surprised with this number! Proud of myself for tracking two days in a row - an achievement I have not unlocked since I rejoined these challenges! Now to continue the trajectory. I’m subbing this morning so will have to neglect DS for a little while to get my strength training in this afternoon, but at least the workouts are short.

    My goodness, does my body love being this weight. If I diet and exercise heavily vs if I relax and enjoy life, same weight. For months and years. Am starting to focus on more NSV coming from working out instead. Waist and hips have lost inches.

    63 year old female, 5’5”. I am married, semi-nomadic (we live in three states, Mass, Maine, Florida). 
    SW WW Sept 29, 2001 - 168.8 (initially lost 29.8, became staff, then up and down 18 years with low of 126.8)
    SW MFP Sept 14, 2020  – 153 (lost 40, then stress loss of 2.2 lb with low of 120.8, then stress gain)
    SW MFP Jan 1, 2023  – 146.6

    9/28 – 128.4 Onion rings for dinner. At least I have nothing else with it. :)

    9/29 – 128.6

    9/30 – 128.0 Got through dining out night #1. Tonight is lasagna at my MIL’s. I should be able to handle that OK as I have eaten it many times.

    10/1 – 128.0 so this seems to be where I am at. Calories yesterday were reasonable. I have a sneaking suspicion though that I have not been post my #’s  to our group.

    10/01 - 167.7 - As expected. I hit my step goal and managed to drink 102oz water yesterday which made me very happy so this increase will not bring me down. After some additional research I'm hyper-focused on moving towards a more Mediterranean/plant based diet to include more fruits and veg in my diet, cut back on processed foods, and keep my meat consumption moderate (it leans towards being on the high side, honestly). That said, my macros were shy of protein and high on carbs, but within my calories (over by 7 kcal so well within my buffer). I'm okay with this because I did focus on whole foods and increasing my plant intake. I have lentils, garbanzo/chickpeas, and black beans in stock at all times. Thankfully I already know and love plenty of soup and stew recipes that are very high in both pulses and vegetables and we're into soup season (even though it is still ridiculously hot here in Texas). The goal is to get as close as possible to goals again today!

    09/30-DNW ↔️ (Trend Weight: DNW) I didn’t get the crown done (yet). The x-ray showed an abscess below the crown. Luckily no pain but I had no idea. I already have a root canal under that crown but apparently the rod did not go down far enough into the canal which left a pocket open for bacteria. Now I need another root canal AND still the crown replacement. I am waiting for the final quote and appointment. I know it will be upwards of $4000.00. Darn, I could have completely redone my son’s 700 sq foot basement “apartment” with that amount of money which is a project that is badly needed.

    Haven’t been this steady in ages. Generally feel much better but not sleeping as well… not sure why. Go off to sleep quickly but wake around 3am, stay awake and go back to sleep 5:30am. Wake up feeling exhausted!!! Luckily that wears off! Exercise levels good, food sensible….. oh well, I did wake up this morning so happy with that 😁

    🎷 67 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 310 (my 240th).

    Goals for every round;

    • First and foremost, no feeding frenzies – I am not a shark or even a piranha!
    • to weigh less at the end of the round than the start
    • be happy because I feel that I have made the round count at the end
    • to have a totally 10-day binge free round.

    I need to remain consistent - it does work! Good luck for success everyone.

    10/1 DNW Sleep deprived again. Did not 🏋️‍♀️yesterday. Two hrs 🎾 was enough. Food good but carbs high. Ate two great big beautiful organic medjool dates last night - divine. Maybe that’s why I didn’t sleep? 😊 Tennis this morning. 

    10/2 133.0 One foot after the other. I had an OK day, as I’m heavy with a big decision… Trying to figure out - will change my day-to-day dramatically… I’ve been a member at my health /spa club for 15 years and thinking about changing which will change my routine/ tennis life/ etc. Seems like not that big of a deal, but it is for me. I captain two tennis teams, and it would mean, leaving that tennis network and joining another. It’s been on my mind for quite some time. On the food as fuel front, I think I’m once again in a “maintenance mindset” when I said I would be in a “weight loss” mindset. I will evaluate that today. My hubby is out of town until Sunday night on a big bike weekend … Hoping to focus on re-centering and building positivity. Today: 🏆🤸🏼🏋️‍♀️🚶‍♀️💗👣📖

    10/01-183.0 ❌ (Trend Weight: 183.9) $3800.00 for the dental work but my insurance will pay for 50%. $1900.00 is still more than I would like to put out, especially in December which is when the appointment is. Ah well, no point in crying over spilt milk, right? Anyway, it looks like 183 is my starting point after the travel. Time to get busy!

    🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃 10/02-185.2 ❌ (Trend Weight: 184.0) Pizza last night which is something I just don’t eat or crave often. It’s my son’s Favorite so we went and took advantage of a Wednesday special. It was Incredibly good so no regrets. Part of this weight increase is also probably still the travel weight since I only gave myself a 24 hour buffer before weighing. And 2 hrs 50 min of sleep last night probably didn't help. So….here I go, chasing my own tail again. No worries, I always catch it. It just sets me back time-wise. Nothing I can’t handle though. DGS and DD arrive today until Sunday night. I’m going to ask her not to fill my candy bowl with her Halloween chocolates.

    10/02 - 167.3 - This must be some water retention dropping off after a couple days of staying well hydrated. I have a meeting in a few minutes that is a "listen in" only so I'll be knocking out my walk during that meeting. I've managed to meet step and water goals. Macros are a bit off, but overall deficit is still in tact so I'm content. I'm trying to not get overly comfortable with major routines since this month I'll be traveling often and won't have much routine to go on - I'll need to stay mindful and focused instead of relying on my fail-safes I've built from routine. In November I can resume my routines with a bit more consistency.

    9/30: 179.7 🤨📈Late night leftover lasagna for dinner. Need I say more? At least it’s gone. No more left. What made it worse was that I had walked almost 2 mi and had a bunch of burned calories from gardening. Whatever. I know it’s going to come back off. Tap class today. I’m going to tap my tootsies off!!!💃

    10/2: 180.0📈🤨Yesterday was a non-stop day with late-night eating along with a cocktail. No doubt this is what I’m seeing on the scale.Fortunately, I exercised a lot that morning or it would have been much worse. 🤷‍♀️

    Up at 3:00 this morning after a return from a fantastic whirlwind tour from Prague, Nuremberg, Vienna, Budapest and London. Part of that was a river cruise with three square meals a day. I ate every meal like it was my last but burned a trillion calories. Thus, a surprisingly low gain on the scale.

    I have a lot of work to do to meet goals.

    A question for our community: I bought some whey protein powder before saddling myself with a “no-Ultra-processed foods” goal. The pictures nutrition panel and ingredients look ultra processed. Thoughts? (I just looked, it is not “Bobby Approved.”
