What is going on??

hello MFP community!
I’ve been working on losing weight for 3 months now (well, for years, but focused last 3), and I’m eating the right number of calories as per MFP, I’m exercising AND I’m doing GLP-1 (Wegovy), which I’ve done before. I haven’t lost a pound, not 1. What’s happening? Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks! Looking forward to hearing your experiences.

Assuming you haven't gained any weight either, congratulations - you've found your Maintenance calorie level.
Eat less. 500 calories per day fewer calories should result in a one pound loss per week. Start there.
500 X 7 days = 3500 calories
3500 calories is generally considered the number to correlate with one pound of body weight. Since we know nothing about you, start there. That's the recommendation.

Hopefully you also haven't gained anything, which is a good start.
You say you're eating the right number of calories per MFP, but how are you tracking your intake? Are you weighing (in grams) everything solid / measuring (in ml) everything liquid that you consume? lf so, are you checking that the entry that you've selected has the same nutritional info as the packet that you used / is correct per a reliable source? Many of the MFP database entries are user entered and many of those are out of date because products have been changed whilst others are incorrect just because people can't read / type.
Also, how long ago did you set your stats in MFP to get your calories figure? If you've been working on losing weight for years, perhaps lost a little in the past but are still using figures from when you started, your 'right number of calories' may be too high. Unless you've done it recently, it's worth going into the Guided Set Up page and reviewing your figures.

Eating the right amount of calories per MFP….
that is no guarantee of success. They my be giving numbers that are too high for you activity level, if you're eating back exercise calories you may be eating too many back, your counting may be off, you my not be counting higher calorie days, youre choosing foods on the database that are showing incorrect, too low of calories
in the future, no loss in 4-6 weeks and you need to lower weekly calories
taking GLP1 peptides is no guarantee of loss, you still need to consume low enough weekly calories.2 -
How do you calculate those calories? Are you using a digital food scale? Also, MFP is on estimates. Your maintenance calories may be different than the estimate.

this is all very helpful, thank you! 5’7” and at 1470 cals as per MFP. Feels right for weight loss but didn’t think about the measurements or tracking as the potential problem. Will start weighing and scanning more. Thanks so much to the group. Really all very helpful.

yes sounds like your counting and tracking isn't accurate
