Walk in the rain with my dog!

I have been struggling to get outside for a while and I have a dog. I've been feeling so guilty about the infrequent walks. Today I was driving home in the rain and I saw two people walking their dogs in the rain and so when I got home, I put on my rain jacket, put my dog in her rain jacket and together we went for a nice walk. I also took her for an early morning walk so we got in two today. I know we need the walking for both of us, I had just been going through a depressive season. Today was a highlight. I enjoyed the rain-walk so much and so did she!

    As long as your dog is happy to go out in the rain, go for it. Our previous dog had no problems with weather, aside from hail. We were out in all conditions. Our current dog doesn't like to get wet, and keeps trying to turn around to go back home, so I don't force it. I have been known to put him back inside and go walk on my own.

    @springlering62 That does sound like a fun way to go! At least one of my dogs would love it! I'm going to check out those rain boots!
