Great running everyone. I think @tarun_yadavA is allergic to sitting down. How is Florida?
Plodding through C25k week 7. Was going for parkrun however my body decided a toilet was a more important destination. My goal is 100 miles walking and running. Still on plan.

Goal of 120 deliberate running and walking. 114 done as of this morning. Got a nice little 5K in. We finally got some rain overnight after what seems like months of none. And of course it was severe but no hail or tornados here. And it was nice a cool this morning. I was going to run yesterday but decided to take another rest day after the 7 (which was too much this early in my training again).

The Balboa notes. Sorry mate. Left it to last minute when we were checking out, and asked then. Lady said they only could get coins and not notes; asked if we'd be willing to wait 10 mins to get some... At that point , missus was getting irritable about getting to airport. So left it. They were coins only!

Run before lifting went fine, but I tweaked my lower back during rack pull deadlifts. Will take it easy the rest of the weekend, have already decided I am going to take next week off from lifting to ensure full recovery of my back. Will see come Monday if that lifting ban extends to a running ban as well.

Well, that was quite a nice run! I might be on to something here. Transdermal HRT that doesn't go through the liver produces nitric oxide, which causes vasodilation - and blood pooling in those prone to it. I probably look at 10 days total to get totally rid of it, but this run was so much better than all previous runs. So happy. Not fast, but my heartrate was substantially higher and running easier.

I had a pretty good run this morning, but only did 5 miles. It was the fastest 5 miles in a year (9:02 pace) , and I even walked a bit after each mile (taking a cue from @martaindale)

Really busy week at work, so missed another run.
Again recording two runs.
5km easy pace including the addition of 8x1min at 4% incline. Dont really know what I'm doing with treadmill incline, but Dr Google said 4% a couple of times, so thought I'd start there.
Sunday 10km, knocked another minute and half off post pandemic pace. Was really hot, but did a little sprint in the 9th km then slowed right down for the last km.

Posting two days again.
Yesterday, I did a treadmill walk before heading out with mom and my two aunts for a leaf looking road trip. We drove the back roads into VA, including a road called "The Crooked Road." I think I made more turns than a NASCAR driver on Sunday. 🤣 The leaves were pretty closer to NC. Once we got very far into VA they were already past their peak. But, it was a really nice trip.
Today, I did a driveway walk after church and lunch at mom's with my niece and her family….and a nice long visit afterwards. I got lots of exercise playing tag with the great nieces.

It was a beautiful morning for a run. It was chilly starting out, but pretty comfortable as the run progressed. I ran 11 miles. This is the last real long run before the Half in two weeks. My daughter came to town at lunchtime. We went to eat at a new pizza place that has become our favorite place. Then she helped me with a costume for Friday. There is a costume contest at work. I'm glad she has moved closer. It was good to spend some time with her.

I think discretion will play the better part of valor, and I will forgo running as well this next week, give my back all the rest it needs and then some so I can hit the ground running in November (so to speak). Thanks for the well wishes, and here's to all of y'all still running the good race.

Made it! 121 miles as of yesterday for walking and running. I am at 93 running so I think I will sssttrretch goal for 100 miles running also. Trying not to overdo it so I can finish out the last couple months of the year strong. We are supposed to get a real cold front this week dropping temps into the 40's so I dug out my gloves. Just in time for Halloween.

It was only 63°F this morning, but the humidity was 100% and the dew point was 63° , so it didn't really feel pleasant. I ran 5 miles today instead of my usual 6. I am starting to taper some for the race in 2 weeks.

I am so impressed by all of you who run everyday, it doesn't matter how far it is, you are all an inspiration.
A very busy week though I got two 5ks in back to back Sat and Sun to keep up three runs a week.
A smidge away being a stone and a half down (9.5 kg) from when I started running again in early September, just 4.5 stone (29kg) to go 😀

Did a treadmill wun today. The avg pace for the run was 12:39 min/mile. Avg HR was 125 with a max of 153 bpm. Nothing spectacular to report. Just plodding along.
