How to not binge on a diet
 
            U have a binge eating disorder and just today I wanted to diet.Do you have any tips on how to not binge?

            Hi @deville1ava185, I was able to repair my binge eating disorder by identifying my triggers. Once I knew the trigger I was able to react differently which helped me avoid the binge one day at a time. Sort of like creating new habits. If I felt the urge to binge I’d stop and analyze what am I feeling? Stress boredom sadness? Then I’d choose to do something that helped my feelings instead of binge eating. Like go for a walk, a quick ten minute meditation or just a few deep breaths even, or I’d call someone and I know and have a chat, or I’d take a mental health break or maybe some self care if there was time. Over time choosing the later became a habit when experiencing those same feelings that used to lead to a binge. I still have stress boredom and loneliness, I just react differently to the trigger now. 0

            They have some really good meetings called over eaters anonymous. They are very informative and also gives you a support network of other people going threw similar situations and have made it out willing to share their experience strength and hope. I haven't gone threw this specific situation so I can't really give advice for it. But your doing the right thing finding help wherever Good luck! 0
