I'm finding I feel hungry but a few mouthfuls into eating, I lose my appetite. Even if I keep eating, because I need to, I'm not enjoying the food and I'm finding it hard to choose what to eat.

Only happened the last day or so but its very strange for me ;p

Any ideas?

For info, I'm on maintenance and haven't had any other problems. Guess I could be ill?

I was about to ask if you were sick before reading the last line in your post.

If this keeps up and you are not eating very many calories each day, you might want to see a doctor and see if there's something going on.

I get like this sometimes and I can only eat the foods that I really fancy at that moment. I alsofind that I will spend ages preparing something that I thought I wanted to eat and by the time I sit down to eat it I don't want it anymore.
I'm afraid I can't help though I find mine just dissapears after a week or so

I think it is a psychological thing. I get like that too.... it is because I spend so much time and energy trying to figure out what to eat, sometimes it gets tedious, so I get to the point that nothing sounds good. So I make something just to make something and I end up not really wanting it. I supplement those moments with healthy snacks.... crunchmaster whole grain crackers, carrots or celery or yogurt, cheese... etc just to get my calories in.

was just thinking the same...it's become obsessive almost thinking abot numbers and percentages over and over to the point where no food sounds appealing anymore. i have to force myself to eat sometimes.
