Question? How can fresh green beans have 800 mg of sodium. That is what it says when I log that in. Fresh doesn't have sodium? Right?

Many foods have sodium in them naturally. But 800 is excessive and surely inaccurate.0

nutitiondata.com has 7mg in 110g of fresh green beans, so practically none.0

I would assume someone entered that and calculated putting extra table salt on. I would just try to find a different entry.0

thanks cause that is putting my sodium intake way out there...0

As a general tip, when looking for "natural foods" choose the ones that don't have a asterisk. Apparently, those are the ones loaded in by MFP and not by individual users. When I look for green beans, I would choose: "Beans - Snap, green, cooked, boiled, drained, without salt" which only has 1g sodium.....0
