    My name is Donna. I am 65 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5’ 5” tall. My highest weight was 253. I would like to lose a total of about 100 pounds and have been working on it for too many years (since 2018).

    I WILL WEIGH ON SUNDAYS BUT ALSO WEIGH ON THE 1ST AND LAST DAY OF EACH MONTH FOR A FULL MONTH’S ACCOUNT. I AM HOPING A SUNDAY WEIGH-IN WILL FORCE ME TO STICK TO PLAN ON THE WEEKENDS. FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY ARE MY DOWNFALLS AND MY BIGGEST BARRIERS TO SUCCESS. MAYBE I CAN CHANGE THAT WITH THE HELP OF THIS CHALLENGE.

    10/26–- Goal: 182,1 Actual: 184.6 ✅ (Trend Weight – 184.2) My weight is down this week but my trend weight is up because I’ve had a horrible week of mostly ups and the downs not being low enough to show progress. I’ve been dipping into the Halloween candy my daughter (who stays weekend with me) brings and undoing all the good I’ve accomplished during my meals. I’m a night snacker so it feels like such self-sabotage after a good day of good meal planning. I’ve got to get a grip. Sugar is my addiction and addiction is often very ugly. 3.0 lbs away from October goal and only 5 days to do it. I know it is not going to happen but I will put the biggest dent that I possibly can in it so that I’m not too far behind.

    🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃 10/31 – Goal: 181.6 Actual: 184.0 ✅ (Trend Weight – 184.2) Once I got off the rails, I had a hard time finding my way back. I gained one pound this month instead of losing. I’m disappointed in myself as I have no valid excuses. But although I sometimes give IN, I never give UP so I’ll move into November with head held high and hope in my heart. Nice job to everyone for showing up and doing your best. Your best is always good enough!

    Dear SherryRueter, I am so sorry to hear about your sciatica and hope it improves soon! I hurt my left hip recently and this morning it took me almost an hour to walk to work when it normally takes about 34 minutes. It's so difficult to have constant pain and makes our wellness goals so much more challenging to attain. I wish you all the best! ❤️

    It SOOO does. And You just don't realize the little things that you take for granted. Like how easy it was to just walk. I am SO sorry you are in pain. I wish you the best also. I wish everyone the best - stay healthy, get check ups!

    I only have 5# to lose - but I do not want that to increase to 10# so I am in on this challenge.
    10/31: 109.0 ( up 2.6# from oct 15. possibly from steroids and inflammation from sciatica)

    As I type this, I just found out that my brother - almost 61yr> has colon cancer and possible liver cancer. Biopsies to be taken and test results to be delivered. He is my primary caretaker of my 79 yr mother. who is 1.5yrs post severe Heart attack. The thoughts are running wild… and I'm going to do my best to keepthem from impacting my plan. health is doing our best.

    🦃🦃🦃🦃 11/01 – 183.0 ✅ (Trend Weight – 184.1) Below is my Trend Weight graph for the past 6 months. I did really well starting around my birthday (May 10th) through summer. Then in September and throughout Autumn I have really become stagnant and fizzled out. No big permanent gains, just kind of like a firecracker that turned out to be a dud. It’s time to pick up some steam again, some sparkle. With the holidays directly in front of us, it won’t be easy but I’m going to give it the old college try and do my best to navigate it. I won’t settle for just “not gaining” during the holidays. The losses need to pick back up and push their way through. I never know what tomorrow brings, but today I feel ready! New Month, Fresh Start!

    me- sherry - today went very well nutrition wise I felt stayed without consider on plan although I didn’t log any food there’s no way I was over so feeling really good about how I feel my body today. I had way too much activity today, but my legs feel good so taking that as a a gift from God. Now I see that it’s 1130 at night and I do need to get some so signing off.

    11/03: 107.2 (up .4 from oct 15th)
    10/31: 109.0 ( up 2.6# from oct 15. possibly from steroids and inflammation from sciatica)

    As I type this: Its 56 outside and I am looking forward to my noon walk. TOmorrow I get a nerve block - so if you are reading this. please pray that God gives me healing.

    It seems my weekend was spent on the phone most of the time talking about my brother and his health/cancer. Also went retail therapy shopping with my daughter - SO very nice to get outside. HOWEVER- all the activity made me super sore on SUnday . so I rested.

    11/02 - 183.0 ↔️ (Trend Weight – 184.1) A very hefty goal this month but I’m off to a good start with 1.0 lbs gone. I managed to make it through Halloween. My behavior was far from perfect but the scale showed me more grace than I probably deserved. To show my gratefulness I will try to give 100% and even do better on my travel day on the 4th than I usually do. I’ve got to stay committed as we move forward into the Food Holidays. There is no time to waste!

    I agree, I'm focused on eating well and exercising consistently. Ill allow myself to eat off plan on the Holiday itself, not the day before nor the day after. I did that last holiday season and was successful!

    hello everyone!

    I’m Keziah 32 yrs old, living in Japan.
    i want to lose weight so bad that’s why i plan to join and get involve in a community where i can have an accountability.

    my greatest weakness are SWEETS 🍫🍩🍪🍰🧁🍦🍬🍮and i tend to over eat when i feel bored. I get too lazy sometimes to exercise and that’s why i am, where i am now.
    My current weight is 77.4kgs

    My goal weight is: 59kgs

    I will do my best to commit in this journey and post my measured weight every Sunday. 💪🏼

    My weight loss has slowed as I've gotten to the last 10lbs. My hope is that with consistency in good food choices and strength training I can be at 140lbs by Jan 1st.

    So I’m joining the challenge late but I have been consistently gaining weight this last year and honestly at this point I’d be happy to stop gaining, let alone losing. 😭 But I’ll weigh in every Wednesday with weight and measurements—waist, hip, thigh and arm. I’m 43 yrs old, 5’9”, and a year ago I was hovering just above my goal weight (155) but I moved back to the States and have gained 30 lbs since then—it’s been a stressful year with multiple of my kids having major health issues and just life all upended with moving and a complete lifestyle/diet change that comes with being back in the US. For several years after losing 50 lbs after my last kid, I weighed around 167ish, it’s only now that I’ve been non-stop gaining. I majorly stress eat and my daughter literally works at an ice cream factory and brings home free ice cream all the time. 🤦‍♀️

    @KSLatorre l know how the changes of life events puts a strain on our eating habits. I just lost my step father & helping my mother with funeral arrangements & her finances put a damper on my eating habits. That the 3lbs that l lost l gained back. I like the idea that @deepwoodslady has about weighing on on Sunday's which makes you accountable for the weekends.

    11/02 - 183.0 ↔️ (Trend Weight – 184.1) A very hefty goal this month but I’m off to a good start with 1.0 lbs gone. I managed to make it through Halloween. My behavior was far from perfect but the scale showed me more grace than I probably deserved. To show my gratefulness I will try to give 100% and even do better on my travel day on the 4th than I usually do. I’ve got to stay committed as we move forward into the Food Holidays. There is no time to waste!

    🦃🦃🦃🦃 11/09 – 180.8 ✅ (Trend Weight – 183.5) I definitely did NOT make it through my travel day on the 4th unscathed, nor did I do that great during the mini-travel and restaurant, cake & ice cream for my daughter’s birthday celebration on the 6th. However, I’ve buckled down and am showing a little more loss each day since. When I get this close to a new decade I usually grab my bags and run the opposite way and start gaining. This is self-sabotage, of course. And some emotional feelings of not deserving it. This time I am standing my ground! I hope by next week I will be somewhere in the 170’s although I don’t feel confident in decades until I’ve reached the magical number of 7 just in front of the decimal point (177, 167, 157 etc.). I always need that room to breathe! We had our first snow last night and it’s still snowing like crazy. So beautiful right now in Northern Michigan. Enjoy your week everyone!

    @Seniorliving so sorry for your loss. And thank you everyone for your encouragement.

    I’ve kept track everyday of what I ate and only made my calorie goal once. 😬. But I have been exercising consistently. And been getting sleep, another thing I struggle with. Here’s my week weigh-in:

    11/5: w-185, waist-39, hips-43.5, thigh-25, arm-13.5

    Hello all. I'm late to the game. Now I have 7 weeks to December 31. Plan to make real good use of my time. Started my journey at 205# on January 1st. Weight now 160#. Plan to lose 1.5# a week which will put me to my goat weight below 150# Hey guys, I really needed. Will continue to weight on Wednesdays. 1. track every bite and drink. 2walk 4,00 steps a day.
