Have finally resorted to this website after putting on about 5lb over last Xmas. New Years resolution applied and started going to Aeromix every week, thinking the weight would fall off. Except I seem to be getting heavier and heavier.

I am getting married next July and am getting paranoid now that the weight isn't shifting, so thought I would try a 'foodie' website and see if that helps.

What am I doing wrong - any advice would be appreciated?

It’s hard to say what if anything you’re doing wrong without knowing more, but regardless this site is ace and can give you the knowledge and motivation to get results.

Welcome, feel free to add me as a friend for motivation, if you wish…
  • Same message as Cruxc really however make sure you go into your account settings and turn on your diary visibility option, this means the people you connect with can look at your food diary and advise whats best.

The site works, just log everything, make sure you're being healthy and it will start to drop healthily.
  • I'm crap with food, I'm not too bad in the day, it's just w-ends, we have a busy social life. I also only do 1 hour of exercise a week at the mo. I always feel bloated tho and look like I'm permanently pregnant. No good for those lbd's.

ps: How do I add you as a friend?

We all start out a bit crap with food and exercise, but the best attribute you can have is patience, change things slowly and have a long term outlook on weight control.

The first step your already making by recording what and how much you consume. In time that will give you the information needed to adapt or change your diet/lifestyle, if you want!

First tip is drink loads of water and gradually cut down on processed foods for whole foods where you can. That alone can hugely reduce bloat and even drop some weight as your body lets go of held water.
  • Thanks for the advice Crux. I always say to people I don't eat crap but recording it on this will confirm that. I am def going to make a conscious effort tho. I'm rubbish at exercising too. Will have to get myself motivated. Difficult when you have a full time job and a 3 yr old. No excuses tho! :embarassed:
