how can I start my exercise

Think of something that sounds fun, and that involves moving your body more than you routinely do now. It's that simple.

Walking is a good starting point for many people, as long as not severely mobility limited. It doesn't have to immediately be 10,000 steps daily or some extreme thing. Just do an amount that's manageably challenging. There was a woman here awhile back who started well over 300 pounds, who would walk to her mailbox . . . and at first need to rest part way. After some months of gradually increasing the walking, she walked in a 5k event, then a 10k. Gradual progress is good progress.

Some people like active video or VR games. There are lots of kinds of dancing, anything from classes, to clubs, to just dancing in our kitchens. There are endless free exercise videos on YouTube. If you're relatively new to exercise, Yoga with Adriene or Leslie Sansone's walking videos are popular options that are achievable for most people.

Try things until you find something fun, that would be my advice.

    Best wishes!

I still love doing the Leslie Sansone workouts. I hadn't been very consistent with working out since a lot of life changes happen d and I wasn't making myself a priority.

In October, I challenged myself to do her Walk It Off In 30 Days and since then I've been working out 6 days a week.
