Ive recently lost 10 pounds and how lost it was by eating smaller portions, drinking water, saying the words "No Thank You" and exercising. Well I rarely eat veggies...its not in my everyday diet. Does anybody know how I can put more veggies in my everyday eating habits?

Try roasting vegetables in the oven or on the grill. I think most vegetables taste much better roasted until they are carmalized than they do steamed, boiled or microwaved. Some have a completely different taste and texture. And it's so quick and easy to prepare. Simply put the veggies in a bowl, coat with olive oil and seasonings, dump on a baking sheet and pop in the oven.0

easy!! steamed veggies are amazing! get low to no cal butter flakes or use spray butter for less cals. or just salt and pepper em. broccoli, zuchini (yes i know i can't spell and I'm to lazy to put it in word first :blushing: ) carrots. or carrot chips and salsa for a snack. i put chopped up zuchinni in my chili, oh an onions of course. I also grill asperagus and zuchini ALL the time. just spray with olive oil sprinkle on some garlic and onion powder and maybe a little cayanne if you like spicy i have also roasted cauliflower and leaks with olive oil and salt and pepper YUM0

What I've been doing to incorporate vegetable is juicing. It's not as good as eating the vegetables would be, but it works, and it tastes pretty good if you have the right juicing recipes! I hope this helped you out a bit! xo.0

If you don't really eat veggies often it is hard to start. I'd say find something you like and try to eat that more. I seem to like broccoli alot, so I eat more of that. Also, there are stir fry's and stuff that grocery stores sell, maybe pick up one of those. You can add shrimp or chicken to it and make it fairly quick and easy using a skillet and a little bit of water.
By the way, this may not be the best advice, but I learned which veggies I liked when I would go out to eat at Appleabeas and other resturaunts. I've found that thier veggies were delicious and started try to eat them more. Eventually you'll want to stop adding certain seasonings and additives and become fine with eating them almost plain.
Overall, I think it is best to tailor your diet and slowly get on track to eating the right things. Don't try to make a huge jump because you will almost always fall back to your previous eating habits. Remember, it's okay to slip up sometimes, but just know to get back on track and keep working at your goals. You are creating a new life style not doing a temporary change.
GOOD LUCK:)0 -
If you are concerned about not getting enough nutrients from the small portions you are eating you can also try a multivitaman0
