11/28- 179.0 β (Trend Weight: 180.0) My son & I ended up staying home yesterday and having a quiet day. The weather was too severe going north, south, east and west. White-out driving conditions and very slippery with accidents and cars off the road everywhere. It was just too risky for me with my bad eye conditions. So I managed to narrowly escape that extra Thanksgiving dinner. Our family feast at my house is this Saturday. I weighed in at 179 today which is where the dust settled from the travel and sodium bloat the other day. At least Iβm back in the 170βs but it puts me very close to the 180 border which is uncomfortable. I took my water pill yesterday since I was snowed in and I had a very low calorie and carb day. My T2D doesnβt always allow me to do that but it was okay yesterday and helped. No TMI today x2 so that did NOT help. I used the exercise bike and I also shoveled snow so there was some extra movement. Today I bake for tomorrow and prepare the house too.
π¦π¦π¦π¦ 11/29- 178.0 β (Trend Weight: 179.8) Itβs Thanksgiving dinner at my house today for all the kids and grandkids. Iβm looking forward to us all being together. November has been much better for me than Sept & Oct when I kind of fizzled out. I had a good summer though.

π π π 12/01-DNWβοΈ (Trend Weight: DNW) My son & I finished most of the leftovers we kept yesterday. It was pretty much like the Thanksgiving feast all over again, or slightly re-imagined. I also finished off the Β½ bottle of wine while it was fresh and bubbly. There may be some of the pies left in the downstairs fridge but Iβm over it and done with Thanksgiving food. Back to basics today. Good luck this round everyone. December is a tough month, usually from beginning to end, but we can do it! I love following everyoneβs weight, fitness, strength and maintenance goals. Thanks to all for sharing. Letβs Go!

December the start of the holiday season, family and spiritual awakening. My name is Mary. My highest weight was 204 on July 2, 2020. It could of been higher but was scared to step on the scale. Now I step on that scale daily. Glad to be back with this great group. Trying to get to 189lbs.

This is a crazy time for me. Lots of stuff going on at home and at work without even taking travel into consideration. I managed my 240 for November, but not my 225,000 steps so this time, I'm going with 230 and 230,000 steps (I was real close on the steps so I want to push it up).

π π π π 12/02- 179.6 β (Trend Weight: 179.8) Well thereβs the true damage from my Thanksgiving dinner and other shenanigans regarding the leftovers. My trend weight has not changed in the end, however, (after two DNW days) so thereβs that. Last night I gave up some of my healthier dinner choices for some of that leftover pie after all. It was a trade-off that was pretty selfish, irresistible, weak and delicious. Just keeping it honest here. It wasnβt very smart either as it does not support me making (and keeping) better habits in my life. Holidays are extra tough! Moving onward, forward and further from that 180 border for the rest of this week is my intent. I have several days of travel next week that I donβt want to be devastating to my overall progress. I must get back into my good habits and have SOMETHING to fall back on in the midst of all the upcoming Big City temptations. Focusing on mindset. Iβm still in the 170βs (barely) and grateful for that. Iβve got the ball, now itβs time for me to Run Forest, Run.

Iβve been eating garbage choices since Thanksgiving. I havenβt exercised in several days and waterβ¦whatβs water? Sleep has been mediocre. In general, the whole thing is a mess. Time to get back to the basics. Today I take my older DGS for his hair appointment so heβll look nice for his upcoming Christmas concert next week. As usual, Iβll treat him to dinner afterward. Iβll decide later if Iβll eat with him or skip it and sit with my water (which is what I do if he chooses McDonaldβs!) Anything I have out, at this point, would be better than what Iβve been eating at home since the 29th. Luckily the scale is not going crazy! But how many times can I slap at it and not get slapped back?

π π π π 12/04-179.4 β (Trend Weight: 179.8) Iβm happy to see this drop. Ended up out to dinner yesterday with DGS, DS and Foodie DD after the hair salon with DGS. They decided on going to the local Pub so the food was your typical Pub food (for me it was chicken strips and fries). I kept it simple and since the bar does not offer desserts or lots of extras, it was a pretty straight-forward meal. I stayed away from all the deep-fried appetizers. They had their sodas, I stuck to water with a lemon slice. I kept the rest of the day good in order to keep it under my calorie allotment. I finally got back on the stationary bike for some exercise last night. Feeling back in control again today. A drop on the scale is always encouraging. DD and DGS arrived at 3:30 for the usual weekend schedule. I must stay strong around all her fancy chocolates of late.
