I was 20lbs down in January. Through all the exercise and watching what I eat, I havent been able to lose any more, but fluctuate 5lbs. Ive cut my daily calories to 1,200 a day, but on days that I do cardio I gain extra calories. My question is, should I use those calories that I have earned or only the 1,200? I think I might be just toning, my pants fit differently, but the scale wont move beyond a certain weight. What gives??

Definitely eat the calories you have earned. The body works in mysterious ways sometimes. Mix up your normal workout with something different that challenges you. I thought I would actually gain when I started eat my exercise calories, but it's been sweet weight loss since. Keep us posted on how it goes. Give it a couple weeks to kick in, since it doesn't happen overnight. Also, make sure you are drinking enough water and watch the sodium.

You MUST eat your exercise calories.

This part right here should be encouraging. Stay the course, for the most part eat the calories you burn, and so long as you can *see* progress, don't be a slave to the scale!... That's my $.02...keep the change ;-)
