Happy Sunday!
So, my day off yesterday was just that. I didn't log food, and walked everywhere, but no structured exercise. It was divine. I ate a biscotti (my first sugar in two weeks), Korean food and had falafel and red wine for dinner. I love the fact that just by walking I was in a Korean neighborhood, an Italian neighborhood and an Israeli neighborhood.
Today, it's right back on the discipline horse (moderately disciplined, anyways. . .)
It's couch to 5K intervals on the treadmill (in my shiny new running shoes!), followed by my "date with myself" which this week features a mani-pedi. (my reward for reaching the halfway point on my current reading list (25 out of 50 sources, read and summarized. . .woot!)
Then, home for a nap.
Take care of yourselves.:flowerforyou:

I'm up early to get ready for yoga and because our kitchen sink backed up yesterday. The plumber should be here any minute...right? Always happens on weekends. I'm leaving for Fort Worth tomorrow; otherwise, I would just wait.
Yesterday, husband and I rode our bikes to one of the yoga studios to see how long it would take us to get there (30-35 minutes) and I went to yoga in the morning. I don't think we are going to ride there today, though. We've never had this teacher and were worried that we might want to bike home. I'm also going to get some sort of walk/jog or cybex in as well.
Your yoga yahoo,

Hey everyone!
I did good on the eating part yesterday, didn't work out though. I weigh in tonight ... so I'm a little nervous but here are the goals for the day.
Stay within calorie limit.
Catch up in my statistics class.
If I get caught up I would like to hit the gym. It's going to take longer to go and get back this week though because my normal gym is closed and the other one is on the opposite side of campus ... which is pretty far here so unfortunately this week gym is going to have to come second to schoolwork.

Hi, Glad everbody enjoyed their day yesterday
Logging in for Saturday:
1) Log in all meals
2) Stay in cals: I was over but not as bad as I thought with the Starbucks treat I had
3) Exersice three days: Well I have two days in and yesterday I cleaned a lot
4) Eat Healthier: Not great choices yesterday but did faiirly well this week in general
I'm going to modify my goals this week a bit:
I'm doing well with logging everthing in so I will change that goal to increase water.
Talk to you later,

I'M BACK!!!
I can't remember the last time I logged on here or made it to a gym
I got overwhelmed with so much that I just gave up on everything. Well, I found out I'm going home (FL) the begining of May!!! So it's busting butt time to get back on track! Today is more about the mental aspect and tomorrow I'm going to start the couch to 5K again!!! I'm so excited!0 -
Welcome back Renae!
Today was my cheat day. I have to admit I have slacked off on logging my food. We were gone all day yesterday and today is my cheat day so I don't care. I am going to get back to my goals tomorrow.
I guess being out in the sun yesterday wore me out (and DH and Alex too). I had to take a nap (and DH and Alex too) this afternoon because I was SO tired. I'm still tired, and the thought of working out tomorrow and getting back on track just isn't exciting to me at all. I just feel very lazy.
I will get back on track tomorrow though! I have to!
I am having a salad loaded with veggies for dinner tonight so that will help. See you in the morning!

I did pretty well with my goals this week. I had one popcorn night, and that was the only time I ate in front of the TV. Overall, this is definitely translating into less eating.
Found the loophole in my "one sweet a week" rule. My week starts on Sunday, so technically I didn't break my rules, but did eat sweets both yesterday and today. Ended up eating gelato tonight. . .which means no more sweets until next week, or next Sunday.
Actually had the realization "hey, I like running" today on the treadmill. Weird. My new running shoes/socks make all the difference in the world. I felt much boingier (I'm not sure that's technically a word) on the treadmill, and was able to go faster.:flowerforyou:0 -
Goals Sunday:
1) Log in all meals
2) Stay within cals
3) Exersice three days::grumble: not this week
4) Eat healthier
Looking foward to SBF2 next week

So ... I had 500 calories left over today ... no clue how so I got to eat some lovely potato chips and french onion dip. SO good. And I did my weigh in and I'm about 3 pounds down so far. I'm not changing it in my log though just in case it's a fluke. lol0
