Take thyroid pills on an empty stomach AND do not take with calcium. Wait at least 90 minutes before having calcium.0

I have had it for about 8 years now. Make sure when you take your meds, you do it on an empty stomach and wait at least 30 minutes before eating. And do not take it with anything but water, as some vitamins and such can counteract the meds. Also, don't take your multivitamin or other supplements with it, again, wait at least half an hour. Make sure you go for your follow up appointments for blood work so your medicine levels can be monitored. Mine has been stable for almost the 8 years I have been on meds.Good luck!0

keep up with your meds and blood tests. And realize that both the condition and the medicine make it a little more difficult to lose weight, so don't be discouraged! I was diagnosed 12 years ago. So know where you are at.0
