No run for me today. Got up yesterday and decided to do a 10K race (which went really well:happy: ), got home and took the kids to the pool and swam some laps, then did P90X back & biceps and Ab ripper. Think I'll just do Yoga today!

Good job you! I did a 5k race yesterday - also went well, but missed my desired time by 30 seconds.
Getting on the bike this morning for a fast 15 miles.0 -
3 miles yesterday, coming back from an injury. Are there minimums or any specific goals for this group?0

Ran 10K LSD this morning. Perfect running weather - Temps in the upper 40s. I may do a 10K race with a friend in a couple of weeks so I thought I better at least do a couple of runs at that distance before hand.0

Just did 4 on the treadmill, I hate the treadmill! Easing myself back into it after being sick forever! Have a great day all!

5 for me today0

Great job, runners! I took my rest day. After 12 miles running Fri night, and 19 miles of a hilly, windy bike y'day I needed it.
Feeling awesome though and pumped about the half marathon in 3 weeks!

Had a nice 12-mile run this afternoon.
Good job everybody - especially those who ran good races!0 -
:drinker: I did five miles today and will shoot for seven tomorrow. This from a woman who couldn't run a mile in high school. I've been a walker for over fifteen years but have fallen in love with running. Way to go fellow runners!0

You are definitely not alone. I hate it. I just bought one for rainy and cold days, but I would much rather run outside.
I did a 5k yesterday (Sunday, 3/22) with intentions of working on improving my time.
Like others have said, I'm not really a "runner". I don't look like a runner. My body is bulky and dense. But I used running to help me lose weight abut 5 years ago and it kinda stuck. I love it. I definitely run on a regular basis. And I've done 2 8k races...actually they both boast "The World's Fastest 8k!". haha
However, I've never tried to work on my pace or improve any kind of time or anything like that. I have have kept up with times, like my basic route run is a 5k, which has always been typically about 30 minutes. Yesterday, I decided to see what kind of time I could get keeping a decent pace because I've been doing some interval work lately and I really think that it's boosting my endurance.
So anyway, I got a 27:25 5k yesterday so I'm please.0 -

Congrats! It's amazing how fast we can go when we break out of the 10-minute-mile mindset. I remember the first time I let myself go faster than that... It was actually easier!
For my part, last night I did my first outdoor run of the season, 4.14 miles. My time wasn't so great, but considering that it contains most of the rather hilly course for the 4-mile race I'm doing on April 5, I felt pretty good, and I aim to repeat it in less time next weekend!0 -
Thanks!
My road that I run on is pretty hilly. That's another reason I like running outside. I have inclide on my treadmill, but it's just not the same.
Good luck on your race0
