I've heard great things about these two exercise programs that promise to deliver a slim and strong body.
If you've tried these, please let me know the pros and cons.
Thanks folks :flowerforyou:

I am actually starting P90X today. I've seen awesome results from a lot of people. If you can eat well and work hard either of those plans are awesome!0

P90X is a wonderful program. I'm in my second round right now. I've love 15 pound and have built a ton of muscle and strength. I highly recommend this system. It is tough and you have to build up to being able to do everything but give yourself some time and do a little better everytime you do a DVD and you will see amazing results. If you decide to use this system, go to their website and make sure to sign up because they give you a coach that you can go to if you have questions, an amazing useful tool that I have used quite often. Good luck!0

Ms JLopez....
I tried the P90x workout. I was so frustrated that I couldn't get through 2 whole weeks. I had to modify everything and it just ticked me off! So - my boyfriend stole it and he loves it.
I have the ChaLean program and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is shorter (always around 35 mins instead of an hour) and still works you hard. I drip in sweat at the end of the workout - heck, 5 minutes in.... She incorporates a lot of compund moves, so you are working multiple parts at the same time.
The only thing I have to modify right now is push-ups.......but not for long!
I plan on going through P90X once done with ChaLean Extreme........And I know I'll be able to kick Tony Horton's butt at the end of it all.........
That is my reccommendation based upon my experience with both programs. Go through ChaLean first. P90X second!0 -

People are doing Power 90, P90X, Ten Minute Trainer, and Chalean Extreme. Anyone would be more than happy to answer your questions.0 -
I completely agree with you Stacy. I also recommend going through ChaLEAN Extreme first, then tackling P90X. They are similar programs, but P90X is more extreme. Something I've hard from Chalene Johnson herself in a Webinar is that ChaLEAN can be done by anyone at any level of fitness, male or female. P90X is for someone already in pretty good shape. I'm loving ChaLEAN, but will try P90X after my 4 months of ChaLEAN.0

JLopez,
I know you didn't ask me, but I thougt you'd like to know my results. I followed the diet plan as close as I possilbe could. After the first month I had lost 8 lbs. My pictures were the most revealing though. It was amazing how much smaller my stomach was. The fat will melt away quickly if you follow this program as recommended. It's AWESOME!!!

JLopez ~ You won't be disappointed! I have done P90X and will be finishing ChaLEAN Xtreme in just a few weeks. Both are fantastic! I really love Chalene's coaching style and enthusiasm.
I may do P90X again or incorporate both into my next round of workouts! Go for it!0 -
You feel it quickly. Today is a rest day and I feel yesterday's workout!
Results - I just got the set. I'm still only in the first phase so I have no logged results yet - all I have is a nasty before pic of me in a bikini and waiting to see the shot in 30 days.
There is a huge difference for me between these programs. Being able to finish a workout in its entirety with little to no modification is so encouraging! I can't wait until the next workout. I dreaded the P90X workouts because it made me feel like I was in worse shape.......I just couldn't do them in their entirety. And I'm not in horrible shape as it is! I'm a lot stronger and more fit than I've been in my life!
I think it may be the wise choice - ChaLean first than P90X.... You build a huge strong base with ChaLean and are able to take it to a whole other level you couldn't imagine with P90....
I look forward to hearing your results and seeing how you like the program.0 -
P90X is designed for people with a pretty good fitness "base." I haven't really done the research on ChaLean so I don't know the program. I've gotten outstanding results in 10 weeks with P90X.0

Great advice. I am a Team Beachbody coach and we are here to answer questions that you might have. I have done P90X and ChaLean and they are both quality programs!! I just finished ChaLean and lost 8# and really leaned out. (I didn't have much to lose to start with).
My info is in my profile or send me a msg if you have more questions!! :bigsmile:0
