Did you change your diet to a much more fiber-rich one recently? It could be your body adjusting to the fiber.
I have bloat and constipation issues too sometimes, though I think the latter is due to my not getting enough fiber from time to time.
That said, I strongly encourage you to visit your doctor for a check up. Also your obygn. These may be symptoms of something possibly more serious than fiber adjustment. Best to check with the medical professionals when symptoms persist and do not make sense. :flowerforyou:0 -
actually the 6 chicken drumsticks i had yesterday for dinner could have something to do with it.. protein overload , i just realized0

If you just recently switched your diet so that its rich in fiber, it might be your body adjusting. I had those symptoms when I tried to increase my fiber intake. Also, too much fiber can cause constipation as well. And its no surprise that if you're constipated you're bloated.0

Very unlikely as its not usually caused by protein overload --- maybe sodium overload, carb overload though.
Constipation can be from too much iron, too much calcium, too much cheese, not enough fiber etc.0 -
I agree with Ziggy. It could also be a food sensitivity. Corn and wheat can cause this. You can try cutting them out of your diet one at a time for a couple of weeks and see if there is any improvement. I gave up both because my body wasn't reacting well to them. Wheat several years ago, and corn a couple of weeks ago and I have in fact considerably less bloating and have lost four pounds.

yeah i used to have corn every day but i totally cut that out cause it backed me up even more. i'll switch to wheat-free gluten-free bread, but i'll keep my 1/3 cup oatmeal for breakfast.
and to everyone , i did not recently switch my diet to one high in fibre0 -
dairy? whey / casein / lactose? evil stuff.
EDIT: also yeast overgrowth in the gut can cause these things. Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar - 2T 3x/day (tastes gross -- have large glass of water ready for chaser) can help.
Also adding extra virgin coconut oil can help.
good luck.
