Alternate Exercise Ideas

Hi! I'm a newbie here and was prompted to post because I need your guys help.
I run everyday and love going to the gym, but was injured in a car accident today :( It's nothing too serious, but I cracked a rib, so it will be a while before I can run again.
Does anyone have any ideas for exercises I can go that are still challenging but won't be high impact and a stress on my chest?

    ugh! I did that falling down some stairs. I feel your pain! I couldn't move much at all for about three day. =S My sugestions would be, light walking, swimming...maybe some easy biking?
  • I cracked one playing waterpolo in HS and what I did to keep swimming was keep ice on it during practice...I...wore two swimsuits and put the ice on my ribs between them, it really helped me to be able to keep going.
