Newbie to weights

I'm entering in the repetitions and weights that I'm doing, but it doesn't look like MFP is figuring in calories like it does cardio (example: if I enter in that I did 50 minutes of tae-kwon-do, it instantly figures that I've burned 700+ calories). Is there a reason for this? I would assume that strength training burns some good calories too, but maybe I'm wrong.

Under Cardiovascular, there are calories for weights(search for Strength training). The Strength Training tab you are using is just for recording your progress weight wise.0
