MFP Friend List Workout Playlist

Options
Hope you are all doing well today! Studies have shown that exercise has been more effective and downright more fun with music incorporated. One of the things I do is create a monthly playlist for my workouts and thus it occurred to me how awesome it would be to have a playlist made up of songs from my friend list. Thus I would request a song from each of you that you have either on your own playlist or just use for your workouts. I'll be glad to share the playlist once created with each of you to use as well. Thank you for all the support and just being yourselves and providing a great motivation and example to me daily...

For example, here are some included thus far:

writteninthestars - "Written In The Stars"

leilani - "Ven Conmigo"

Mari1010 - "Got 2 Luv U"

Besos!

If you get on iHeart Radio and listen to the SpinCycle Station, its a great place to have upbeat music.
For myself, I listen to Little Lion Man by Munford and Sons, its a great song for a gradual increase run.

Kinda cheesy maybe, but I've always had "Eye of the Tiger" on my Playlist.

Any one song in particular? Should I choose "Bottoms Up"??

hahah choose whichever you like! But that's probably the one I pick. I vary with what I'd rather listen to when I work out but that one tends to get played pretty often.

Okay, since they play music (mostly hiphop) at my gym, the song that gets me 'in the zone' is Superman High...by R. Kelly Featuring OJ Da Juiceman.

As a New Yorker born and bred - you have to add "Empire State of Mind" by Jay-Z for me.

my "theme" song or "anthem" is Mrs. Robinson by the Lemonheads (a particularly rocking version of it!!)

I like a lot of ska or so-cal reggae... Sublime, early No Doubt, English Beat.
