Is this ok as long as it doesnt "hurt"? Or will it just get worse? Im still kinda new to running and i do 3 miles on average 4 to 5 times a week...

I ran 3 miles yesterday on a "slightly aching knee" and by the end of the night I couldn't move it. This morning it was slighly achy, but I walked 6 miles today and it doesn't seem to be bothering me. I plan on giving it a couple more days of walking before I return to running, just to be on the safe side. I definitely don't want it o turn into something more serious.0

I've always been told its okay as long as it doesn't hurt. I too have achy knees and hips. I don't want to know what it is going to be like when I'm old! haha0

Take it easy on it. Also, look up stretches/strength moves for the prevention of runners knee. Those helped me when my knee got achy when I upped my running.0

My knee bothered me, too, at first. But I've started wearing a pull-on knee brace when I run and it hasn't hurt since!! I highly recommend them!!0
