Hi, I'm Melissa, I'm 22. I'm getting married in 8 months! This is my motivation. I've wanted to lose weight for a long time (since I quit basketball in 9th grade and blew up like a balloon). I have a more long-term goal of getting down to 160lb some day, but for now I want to lose 45 pounds before my wedding so that I'm under 200 for the first time in quite a while. I want to feel great on my wedding day, and I want to be healthy so I can have kids and play with them and live a long life with my future family!

You're definitely at a good place. I've only been on this site for 2 weeks but I love it- it has really helped me keep track of everything and keep my motivation up. I lost 10 lbs before joining and I'm trying to lose another 60-65. Feel free to friend-request me if you'd like :)

Hey Melissa, Take your 45lb u wanna lose and brake it up in incriments of 10lbs at a time and it will be more achievalbe. I lost 65lbs but i broke it down to 15lb at a time and once i reached the first 15 i worked on the second then so on. Make it sensible for yourself, time wise for how what time period u want to lose the 10lb in. Just a suggestion!!!! Good luck.
