I am losing interest but still care-so confused!!Help!

I have hit the 3 month mark. I have worked out almost every day, logged my calories etc. I have seen results and am happy with where I am. I would like to continue though. I have goals that I want to met, things I want to do. But for the past 3 weekends I havent logged but was still conscious of eating etc and now it extended out past the weekend. I forced myself to log today just to get back in the groove. I am getting divorced, have 2 little ones and am a teacher. I think I am just getting overwhelmed with life and this is what is getting shorted. Any help/advice etc appreciated.

hang in there guster! :flowerforyou: we need you here. sounds like life is tough for you right now but you know there is a smoother road out there ahead of you. my advice may be corny, but think about how you want to approach that smooth road...sticking to it and seeing more and more success will not only make the smooth road come quicker, but it will be a lot more fun too! you can do this, you know you can. just dont drop off because you will have that much more work to do later on. you have friends here, and coming here in the first place says more than you think. you and i started around the same time and have lost about the same amount so far. just think of where we will be in three months from now! :smokin:

Not really any advice for you, other than the fact that if you want it, you'll do it.
I took a 2 1/2 month hiatus. I was still coming on here, messaging, sometimes doing my food log, very seldom exercising. And I had been seeing results. I even lost a couple of pounds during the holidays. But something happened in January, and I just couldn't bring myself to do it...
And until I wanted to do it again, forcing myself didn't do anything for me, because on the days I didn't go to the gym, I'd get mad at myself, then I'd enjoy a nice brownie to make myself feel better. I binged pretty bad during that time off. Then, a few weeks ago, I knew it was time to kick myself into gear again. My 2 1/2 months off, I gained 5 pounds (all within the last two weeks of it). It's taken me 4 weeks to lose that 5 pounds again, so I'm back where I was in January. Looking back, I realize that if I hadn't taken that time off, I'd probably be down another 10 lbs or so. Maybe 15...
I'm sorry I don't have any advice, nothing worked for me until I wanted to get back on the wagon bad enough. But at least you're not alone:drinker:0 -
You know, it becomes a lifestyle and maybe you're ready to make the jump to trusting your instincts on what to eat, rather than logging it all. You can still check back in at the boards, but try not logging for a week and see what happens!0

be sure to get at least 7.5 hrs of sleep each night. i was just reading an article that says that is the minimum needed for women to be well. i can't know how difficult all these things are for you, but mfp is here to help. we want you to succeed, too! so come post as much as you like/can. hugs0 -
I think of this as time I am giving to myself. Posting, reading, paying attention to what I am doing with my body. You have a lot of change going on in your life. This is such a safe place to make friends that really care. Hope you can be gentle and loving to yourself and continue. I ask myself, "Do I deserve to be happy?" and the answer is yes, I do. Then I ask, what type of body would make me love myself more and let me live with joy? The answer always is a healthy one that fits into beautiful clothes with ease. Instead of making a decision to stop, why not ask yourself questions to see what else is possible? What do I want to look like in a month, two, six, a year? Imagine your body like that a few minutes each day. Close your eyes and see the health. Feel it, enjoy it and then know you deserve it. Do what it takes each day to see that vision come true. Loving you! You can reach whatever dreams you dream. Where we put our focus is where we end up. :flowerforyou:0

Don't give up now. This is when you need it the most. Trust me, I've been exactly where you are and you'll be glad you stuck with it in the end. It's a hard time right now with many demands on you, but don't make the mistake of thinking of your exercising & healthy eating as a chore. More than anything right now, you need to do something special for yourself as well. Think of this as your reward to yourself! Just as you would consider a night at the movies or a bubble bath, only the rewards of reaching your weight loss goals will last a lifetime for you and for your children. You'll be healthier, more energetic, happier and boy what a fantastic stress reliever exercising is!!!
You can do it, girl! And you've got a great support system right here to encourage you! When you need friends, You've got them!0
