My dog and I have a way stronger bond from all the walking than he has with his daddy
My house is cleaner as I've figured this is a sure fire way to burn a lot of calorie without even realizing it. Epecially because I rarely ever log cleaning as I do it as and when I see something to do.
I have no trousers that fit me anymore! And I never did have anything but fahion belts, so it's really embarressing at the moment, need to organse a shopping trip, maybe with my mum who is also experiancing this one.
I feel a lot more comfortable in random clothes. Yes, I am wearing my tinkerbel pajama bottoms around the house as I do housework. No, I am not embarressed by it. Yes I am comfortable.
I no longer shy away from showing off my figure, that isn't to say I wear more revealing clothes, but if I do wear shorts and a sports bra I don't shy away from people.
Food lasts a lot longer in this house. A full freezer will last a whole month and a bit now instead of a few weeks.
There's more money because we're buying less food.
The scale is my friend
The camera is my friend.

    I like this. A lot.

    Well done.

I feel my dog enjoys my weight loss as well...
  • Good for you!!! I had to buy new "unmentionables" and will have to get new jeans soon. My pants hang off me even worse than before. I wore a pair of pants yesterday w/o feeling embarassed! It's a journey. Congrats for your awesome success...and your mum too!

Most of my unmentionables were actually leaving aweful red gouges in my skin becaue I refused to go up a size. So they all fit now :P I don't know what it is with my trouers as I refused to go up a size in them too, but they just seem to have stretched or something and now I can't keep them up >_< So I have to go and buy all new things.

My local park has just opened a free to ue outdoor gymn too...well...the mayors opening it tomorrow, but...it's been there for about a week now and I've been going down to use those machines as well :P But mostly, my weightlo is thing my dog can participate in as he's a patterdale terrier and needs FAR more excercise than I do, such high energy levels, but it's a fantastical motivator for me. We're playing "sweeping" now. Which is where I try and sweep the floor and he tries to kill the weeping brush, creating five time as much for me to sweep up :P

My mum has lost about 3stone, which is amazing! She's so happy and proud of herself, and quite rightly so. Hers is uch a big acheivement! My dad too, he's lost more I think, but not sure of the number as he got a new scale after about 3stone and suddenly he was back to his origional starting weight >_< They're both doing so fantastic. A total inspiration for me.

Sometimes I look in the mirror and I feel that at least this Im doing right. It is a very nice feeling that my body and me are finally getting along. I have learned so much about myself and I cant believe I like to sweat now. I hated it before. Now I think I look sexy sweaty (Im crazy I know!).

I love the feeling when i bound up the steps that i don't feel like i'm dragging a 20 lb weight with me anymore.
I love the fact that when i run i don't feel tired right away
i love the fact that i can fit into jeans that i haven't in years
i love looking at my end of day calories and saying - good for me!
