Far and away the BEST lose weight motivational book I have ever read ... Reading it for the third time to try to keep my motivational levels high. Ms. Janogly pulls no punches :-)

The title doesn't seem to have much to do with the contents of the book.

Oh but elsewhere online she does say not to skip breakfast so meh. No thanks.

Correct - the title is misleading, it's not only about the breakfast! :-)

It's probably something you need to read to experience, but it helped me enormously last time I embarked on a massive weight loss exercise. It heaped me to realize how I'd gotten myself into that situation and how to get out of it.

I can see that the way she addresses people could be really helpful to some, but it really puts me off. Some people must like or need that though.

A good kick in the backside?

I am sufficiently humble to admit that is exactly what I need from time to time. Only the results matter to me :-)

Of course. To me it reads a lot like fat-shaming and I don't like that, but I am glad it works for you and there's no shame in that.
