 Mornings are so easy to start right! But sometimes it is hard to forgive myself for how badly I treated me last night-stuffing my face with junk food!

Every morning is a new day. Yesterday's actions are irrelevant. I like to focus on where I am now, at this moment (mindfulness) and move forward from there. Then there is no guilt. KelleyJo, there is a fabulous mediation book called Meditations for Women Who Work Too Hard. It has 352 daily short meditations (not religious, just mindful and positive). I did this book for one year. I used it to set my day, taking 30 minutes each day before the household awoke, just me...my time. I strongly recommend it.0

RE my previous post, correction please, after digging out the book..."Meditation for Women Who Do Too Much." Its been about 6 years since I went through this book. I think I'll start it again. Simple reading, only a few minutes a morning, and then pondering as I drink my coffee or walk my dog on the personal meaning of the daily passage as it relates to me, my life, at this moment in time with what issues I am experiencing in life. :flowerforyou:0
