anyone no anything about the dukan diet been told from a m8 that another m8 of hers on it and shes lost 3lb first day and 1lb everyday day since

Do a google search, heaps of site that explain how it works,
I know all of you guys know this basic info, but I was on Youtube and found some videos of Dr. Dukan explaining the diet. I LOVE his accent. (especially the way he says 'oat bran' and 'vegetables')

There are quite a few of us on here that follow the diet - I am finding it easy to stick to and the weight is coming off - but you must read the book to ensure you do it properly - i borrowed it from the library to save buying it.0

Hi,
I'm on Day 8 and its going really well. Much much easier than I thought it would be, and no hunger. (Not sure weight loss yet due to TOM and scales currently being evil diet wreakers!)
Can't decide what to do today - a final attack day or move to cruise. Should be cruise, but I have a work event on Tuesday and it would be 100 times easier if I could eat veg on that day (so I could have a salad), so my options are:
1) Cruise today and do 5 days PV and then 5 days PP
2) Attack today and then move to 1 day PV 1 day PP making tuesday a PV.
ARGHHH! Help!!

hi ive ordered it from amazon but a friend has downloaded it 2 me though pc but the book be lot easyer than sitting at the pc lol im planning starting it next wk just gotta buy food i need in lol and let kids and hubby have there crappy food lol0

Yes - much easier with a book! I have treated myself to a long soak in the bath reading it every night!
Buying the food you need is key, so you always have something you can eat. And it doesn't have to be expensive - I bought whole chickens, eggs, value cottage cheese etc and it turned out to be a cheaper than normal week!! Highly recommend the pancakes, it feels like a treat! And cook the same food for the family, but give them less meat and add veg to it. Easy!

So stupid question - is a PP day on cruise any different to attack, other than the extra oatbran?0 -
From memory I think that's the only change.
Other than upping your walking (20mins day in Attack, 30 in cruise) - but your doing way over the recommended minimum exercise anyway.0 -

my husbands quite overweight aways was but he wants do it his way but since joining gym on his days off from work he goes swimming and has cut down on foods but im hoping he will try this after i do lol but im not touching catage cheese cant stand it lol0

LOL!! You can easily do this without cottage cheese, and some extra protein for you other half will help whatever eating plan he does.
Even if you eat differently doing it together will be great support.0 -
