    This mostly depends on the person you talk to. If you were to talk to the average joe, they would say yes. If you spoke with a body builder during their cutting stage, they'd say no as long as there is still a deficit. Not sure how a nutritionist would view this. It probably comes down to your own body and metabolism.

    generally not imo but..... If I eat after 8pm then next day I see an increase on the scales but in the long term it all balances out. If you wi once a week in the morning then I would personally avoid eating late the night before, as for me it affects the weigh in next morning.
  • I don't think it has to be a set time but you should not eat anything at least 3 hours before bed. It takes 3 hours for your body to digest your food and if you eat right before bed your body will be busy digesting and not resting and burning fat like it should. Hope it helps.
  • JMO, I would be surprised if the time actually matters. I think it's more about calorie balance, regardless of when you take the calories in. So if you have a small healthy snack late at night that fits in with your daily calorie goals, I don't see how it could hurt.

    no. I don't believe so. I work graveyard hours. I have a whacked out eating sechdule. all of my weight loss has come while being on the graveyard shift.
