Nice! I should really start mixing up my protein shakes. I went through most of my 5lb of cookies and cream protein powder in just over a month. And I only drink it with milk lol

Thanks for the link. Bookmarked :)

I use protein shakes a lot. There again I'm on a low carbohydrate diet. I've low caloried over the years and can maintain my weight now on 1000 calories and will put weight on on a diet with over 60 grams of carbs. It's a shame I got to be 56 before I found out my body's reaction to starches and sugars - I do still eat green vegetables and some fruit.

Some of those look good. I drink a protein shake for breakfast every day but it's always pretty much the same. The base is a combination of 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk, 1 scoop Jay Robb chocolate protein powder, 1-2 tbs peanut or almond butter(or a mix of the two). Then sometimes I will add either frozen blueberries or baby spinach. Lately I have been adding cocoa powder and a bit of instant coffee to make it mocha flavored. I always add ice too. It comes out like a milkshake!

I use Whey Protein. I put a scoop in my Strawberrie Smoothies, I drink one right after my work outs in the morning.... Its so refreshing, and makes me feel great the rest of the day. I do think mixing protein and fruit is a very good and smart idea.

There are some really incredible recipes here: http://www.dashingdish.com/category/recipes/shakes/

You'll never know that you weren't drinking a real ice cream shake. I just leave out the toppings for an extra calorie/sugar savings.

This one's my fave so far. Plain and simple. http://www.dashingdish.com/2010/03/i-cant-believe-its-not-a-milkshake/

Edit: They're so good I actually went out and spent a small fortune on an awesome blender. They deserve it. :)
